Article Requirements
- Articles submitted must be broadly Evangelical and meet the Journal’s focus and Evangelical ethos.
- Articles should contribute new knowledge or build on existing knowledge in the various disciplines of theology.
- Articles must have a minimum of 4000 words and a maximum of 6000 words including the referenece list/bibliography.
- Articles, where possible, must use inclusive language. No discrimnatory language should be used.
- Articles should not be written with AI technology. Where AI technology has been used, this must be referenced and cited accordingly.
Review Process
- The first review process is an editorial review to assess if the article is suitable and meets the Journal criteria and focus. No correspondence will be entered into or reasons supplied to the editor’s decision regarding the suitability of the article for the Journal.
- Once the article is assessed as suitable for the Journal by the Edtorial Board, it is sent for a double blinded peer-review.
- Any feedback will be returned to the corresponding author for required attention. Authors will be required to submit an anontated version with tracked changes showing any changes made, a document stating step-by-step responses made by the reviewers, and a clean copy with all changes made.
- The review process can take anywhere from a minimum of 3 months or longer depending on the availiblity of peer-reviewers and their timeous feedback.
- Any decision or revision or rejection by the peer-reviewing process is final and no correspondence will be entered.
- No article will be published unless the required page fees have been paid.
Author Responsibility
- The corresponding author needs to submit a similairty report with the submission of the article.
- The corresponding author must submit a complete article and an anonymised article which will be sent for peer-review.
- An author agreement form must be submitted as an attachement reflecting all authors agreements.
- The author acknolwedges that the article has not been previously published or is currently under review at another journal.
- The author remains responsible for the settling of the page fees.
